Responsibilities

Synthesize and communicate financial and operations data in a clear and concise manner.

Partner with business leaders in the annual budgeting and quarterly forecast processes.

Compare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial results to planned results, explain variances, and make recommendations for future actions.

Participate in the construction and delivery of monthly reporting to the parent company.

Collaborate in the development and presentation of performance metrics and scorecards.

Develop analytical models to evaluate or forecast the performance and profitability of ongoing operations.

Develop analytical models to evaluate the financial benefits of special projects or acquisitions; and support the formation of business cases.

Identify and follow through on opportunities to create process improvements, operational efficiencies, and more meaningful financial analysis and reporting.

Required

5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis roles.

Advanced Excel mastery - Candidate must have experience building data models in Excel.

Advanced Excel mastery - Candidate must have experience with macros in Excel.

Proven data-gathering and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and draw accurate conclusions from various types of data. Strong understanding of how key performance drivers impact financial results.

Preferred

Experience using Epicor or similar ERP systems, Cognos Controller or similar data consolidation and reporting tools, and experience using Power BI or similar data analytics and reporting tools.
