Responsibilities
Gain an understanding of business processes and map them to new system capabilities.
Ensure alignment of recommended improvements and technical solutions with Agency strategic goals.
Facilitate requirements gathering with individuals and groups to meet business needs.
Consult with staff and external partners to analyze technology needs and problems.
Identify stakeholders and develop business cases.
Advise staff on business analysis best practices and tools.
Develop Quality Assurance plans for technical solutions meeting stated requirements.

Required
Experience: in business analysis of Information Technology (IT) projects and/or agency-wide initiatives.
Education: involving a major study in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), Business Administration, Business Analysis, or closely related field.
Preferred
Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA) or a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) through the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA), OR completion of a business analyst certification from a university or college.
Familiarity with Organizational Change Management practices.
Experience with M365 tools such as Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, and Teams.
Knowledge with requirements gathering and tracking tools (like Modern Requirements), or with an enterprise-wide project management tool like MS Project or Monday.com.
