Responsibilities

Create and execute story validation tests in an Agile environment
Partner with developers to create, maintain and execute automated integration and functional tests
Build and maintain an automated test infrastructure for a large-scale microservice oriented system comprising of many components
Write, execute and maintain end-to-end system integration scenarios and user acceptance scenarios for the large-scale platform
Translate user stories into test scenarios and cases and provide feedback to ensure testability of all stories
Collaborate with other business groups and external teams for end-to-end integration
Collaborate with DevOps to integrate the automated tests in the CI/CD pipelines
Work with Product Owners and users to execute user tests
Modify existing code to support project requirements
Engage in code reviews alongside more experienced developers to receive valuable feedback
Create and update technical documentation, including code comments, user guides, and documentation for APIs or libraries
Assist in estimating the scope and time required for tasks, contributing to project planning and management

Required

3+ years of software engineering experience creating and executing tests
Experience coding in Java
Experience with test automation and test automation frameworks
Experience testing back-end services and/or APIs
Experience integrating with CI/CD and working in public cloud with AWS, Azure, or GCP
Experience in estimation, prioritization, and planning/coordination of testing activities in an Agile software engineering environment
Familiar with systems like JIRA for tracking purposes and ensuring traceability among test cases, code, and requirements
You are not afraid to spend time performing manual tests yet have the urge to automate those as efficiently as possible
Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong results
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Exhibits integrity and high standards in work quality
Ability to build trust and cooperation amongst team members
Displays care, empathy, and understanding towards team members including valuing diversity and differences amongst individuals
Ability to take accountability for self and others to deliver results

Preferred

Experience with building test automation frameworks
Experience with Docker/Kubernetes
Experience with TestNG
