Responsibilities

Assist in integrated logistics support (ILS) activities designed to provide life-cycle support of systems and equipment.

Recommend ILS element planning and progress to ensure compliance with program requirements, specifications, and standards.

Analyze models and optimize distribution networks using advanced logistics software for location of sites, allocation of resources, inventory placement, transportation mode selection, freight consolidation, closed loop tours, and continuous moves.

Prepare, review, update, and maintain logistics documentation as required.

Track, monitor, and maintain logistics documentation electronically within Government designated repositories.

Track all hardware warranty and software license use.

Assist in the planning and coordination of fielding conferences.

Assist in the collection, analysis, reconciliation, and forecasting of requirements to support, replace, or upgrade Information Technology (IT) hardware and software items.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field. Military experience acceptable in lieu of education.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in logistics acquisition.
