Responsibilities

Develop and design Power BI dashboards and reports to meet business requirements.

Translate business and technical requirements into effective and user-friendly visualizations.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver actionable insights.

Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reports and dashboards via comprehensive unit testing.

Optimize Power BI solutions for performance and scalability.

Create and maintain documentation for all Power BI solutions, including design, development, and deployment processes.

Translate high-level requirements and business goals into wireframes, making design recommendations to build out final dashboards and visualizations.

Provide training and support to end-users to maximize the adoption and usage of Power BI solutions.

Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and backlog grooming.

Continuously monitor and improve existing Power BI solutions based on user feedback and evolving business needs.

Stay current with the latest features and best practices in Power BI and data visualization.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Power BI Developer or in a similar role.

Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.

Experience with Power BI Premium features.

Strong understanding of data modeling and performance tuning in Power BI.

Experience with SQL and other data query languages.

Ability to translate business requirements and technical documentation into technical specifications for Power BI solutions.

Preferred

Experience with data warehousing concepts such as data modeling, ETL development, data integration, and data analysis.

Knowledge of advanced Power BI features such as data modeling, performance optimization, and advanced visualization techniques.

Expertise in clinical metrics and KPIs for specialties such as hospital medicine, emergency medicine, anesthesia, telemedicine, critical care, revenue cycle, business operations, finance, and accountable care.

Experience creating and monitoring data quality or production support dashboards to proactively react to changes or issues in analytic solutions.
