Responsibilities

Partnering with technical writers to design informative graphics, illustrations, and charts for user manuals, computing systems, white papers, and other client deliverables
Crafting visually appealing presentations to communicate complex technical information effectively to users of all technical levels
Maintain brand consistency across all visual materials
Possess a keen eye for detail and ensure the accuracy and clarity of all visuals

Required

Five (5) years of experience as a Graphic Artist or in a similar role
A strong understanding of visual design principles and best practices
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), Canva
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the technical writers, and other corporate communications team members
Must be able to collect/understand requirements and design, explain and articulate wireframes and mockups of all marketing projects
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
A portfolio of sample designs
US Citizenship with the ability to obtain or maintain US Government security clearance

Preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Marketing or related field
Experience creating visuals for DoD technical documentation or presentations
Understanding of user experience (UX) design principles
Experience with Figma and HTML
A portfolio of work supporting the implementation of government IT procurement systems
Active US Government Secret or higher clearance
