Jr. Project Manager/Scrum Master

Responsibilities
Develop detailed project plans, manage IT projects from inception to completion.
Coordinate project activities, and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, reports, and logs.
Prepare, present, and communicate comprehensive project status reports timely for management and stakeholders.
Ensure all project and PMO process documentation are organized and accessible.
Remove impediments, mitigate risks, and work with teams on finding the right solutions to move projects forward.
Support Product Owners and Stakeholders in refining requirements and managing backlog.
Assist in facilitating agile ceremonies - ensuring team commitment and engagement in the process.
Promote, and encourage teams to follow Agile/Scrum practices when applicable.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Information Services preferred, minimum 1-3 year experience in related fields.
Experience and understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and Scrum Master role in software development.
Familiarity with agile practices using Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.
Familiarity with using JIRA/Atlassian tools on a software development project.
Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, with drive for continuous improvement and engagement with project teams.
Strong and effective communicator with the ability to tailor communication for different audiences.
Proactive: Takes initiative and anticipates needs.
Adaptable: Flexible and open to change in a dynamic work environment.
Empathetic: Understands and considers team members’ perspectives and needs.
Detail-Oriented: Focuses on the details while understanding the bigger picture.
