Responsibilities

Execute hands-on MEMS processing, research, and development tasks. Assist in implementation of microelectronic packaging processes, including materials development and thermal processing.
Gain cross-functional experience especially with deep materials science as it relates to process engineering and package design.
Participate in detailed, collaborative discussions about the impact of your designs and process decisions on overall product design.
Collaborate with the rest of our team to publish and present our work.
Communicate project updates on progress, risks, options, barriers and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
Create and update technical documentation, product specifications and vendor procedures.

Required

Master’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline. Coursework on MEMS and/or microelectronic fabrication techniques is required.
2-3 years’ hands-on experience with MEMS processing, especially in photolithography and etch. At least one of these years must be in non-academic settings.
Experience with hands-on prototyping, such as part/fixture design and 3D print, machining, or similar.
Enjoys working cross-functionally in small team settings.
Demonstrated history of self-directed work with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
