Responsibilities
Establish customer specifications for quality standards.
Develop quality assurance systems for production environments.
Implement systems for quality monitoring and trend reporting.
Drive reductions in scrap and holds.
Educate production and quality personnel on customer requirements and inspection methods.
Work with customers on quality defects and provide on-site support.
Escalate quality defects to management and provide solutions for correction and prevention.

Required
BS degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Business Administration preferred or equivalent experience with CQE Certification.
Minimum five years of experience as a Quality Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, or equivalent experience.
High proficiency in computer technology and systems operation, experience with SAP, Minitab, Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required.
Experience interacting with customers via phone, email and face to face.
Working knowledge of the ISO:9000 and SQF standards and requirements.
Preferred
ASQ CSSBB, CQE, CQM/OE preferred.
Black Belt or Green/Six Sigma Certified and experience in Continuous Improvement activities such as Kaizen preferred.
