Responsibilities

Design, implement, and test services and APIs with the support of your squad.

Develop client libraries and API documentation for squads that need to integrate with Core Services.

Make data-based decisions to continuously improve the availability, performance, and maintainability of our services.

Communicate our plans, architectural decisions, features, and processes through documentation and demos.

Required

Significant professional experience in either Java or Go, with a willingness to work in both languages.

Experience building or integrating with REST APIs.

Experience building API specs, client libraries, and documentation for other development teams.

Experience designing, developing, and maintaining distributed systems.

Preferred

Experience with Authentication and Identity Management technologies: OAuth, OIDC, SAML.

Experience with Spring Boot, Spring, JDBC/JPA, Postgresql.

Experience monitoring and supporting services in production using observability tools: Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and/or Dynatrace.

Experience using cloud platforms and/or containerized application deployments, especially AWS and Kubernetes.
