Senior Restoration Consultant (Senior Project Manager)
Walker Consultants is a company specializing in structural integrity and building performance services. They are seeking a Senior Restoration Consultant (Senior Project Manager) to research, analyze, and solve structural deficiencies in various types of buildings, while managing projects and client relationships.

Responsibilities
Perform investigations, surveys, and testing of existing buildings to identify and diagnose deficiencies contributing to damage or deterioration
Cultivating new clients and managing existing client relationships
Preparing proposals
Critically analyze plans, specifications, and calculations prepared by others
Monitor progress of projects, adherence to project requirements, and closely track budget and procedural standards
Perform or review condition appraisals, develop repair schemes and repair recommendations
Complete and maintain all project documentation in project management software
Coordinate engineers and technical personnel for projects in the office
Maintain, market, and promote restoration and forensic engineering consulting services to new and existing clients
Assist and train less experienced staff in a variety of roles
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in structural engineering, architecture, architectural engineering or similar
Registered professional engineer or architect, or ability to obtain professional license
10+ years of experience working in the restoration and/or building envelope fields
Willingness to travel around the DC/Baltimore area, with occasional travel for conferences
Strong project management experience with restoration and/or forensic engineering projects
Superior problem-solving skills
Proven ability to manage small teams working on several complex projects simultaneously
Ability to effectively communicate both in writing and verbally with decision-makers at all levels in an organization
Highly resourceful and self-directed
Enjoy working in an environment that offers the freedom and autonomy to develop and implement best practices
Strong time management skills
