Responsibilities

Execute a communications strategy aligned with business objectives and cultural values.

Provide executive communications support for the chief revenue officer, including correspondence, presentations, and social media.

Organize content for organizational events and communications, such as town halls and all hands meetings.

Design and execute ongoing communications vehicles like newsletters, presentations, and intranet.

Partner with Sales senior leadership to address communication needs and mentor leaders on messaging and delivery.

Build relationships within Sales and Cisco Global Specialists organizations to understand communication needs and develop relevant communications.

Required

10+ years communications or related experience; sales communications experience preferred.

A bachelor’s degree with a major in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing or related field preferred.

Superlative written, verbal and visual communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of audiences.

Demonstrated understanding of communication concepts/functions and software tools (Microsoft Office 365 SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe Creative Suite).

Understanding of AP style a plus.

Ability to travel up to 10%.
