Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated tests and tooling to ensure software performance and reliability meet product specifications.

Refine testing processes to drive efficiency, completeness, and software product quality.

Contribute to exploratory testing, software/product release testing, and usability testing in various environments.

Improve operational efficiency of the software team and the broader engineering organization.

Communicate goals and metrics related to test coverage, test status, test results, and product reliability.

Required

4-7 years of Experience working in a fast-paced software or robotics development environment

Proven Python and Bash development knowledge and experience

Demonstrated ability to provide valuable testing feedback for in-development products

Strong, clear, and concise communication through a collaborative mindset

Comfort and confidence in determining how to go about testing a piece of software

Preferred

BS in Engineering (computer science, mechanical or electrical engineering)

Hardware experience (significant value, although not required)

Familiarity with agriculture, drones, aviation

Familiarity with Rust
