Responsibilities
Lead and manage a marketing team with varying creative skills towards success.
Inspire and empower direct reports, contribute to the marketing team's deliverables, and generate creative ideas collaboratively.
Understand and utilize the latest marketing techniques and traditional methods to reach customers effectively.
Supervise the creation of advertising content for various mediums in-house and lead relationships with marketing vendors.
Participate in the annual media buy, place digital ads, set and monitor digital KPIs, and develop compelling concepts for different media outlets.
Communicate and present to internal clients, brainstorm and conceptualize full-scale creative projects, and interact with senior leaders to execute marketing strategies.
Work at both strategic and tactical levels, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and collect, analyze, and write reports on market approaches and strategies.
Oversee cross-functional work areas, collaborate with other departments to ensure best-in-class service, and continually improve processes to enhance web sales efficiency.
Occasional travel up to 10-15% may be required.

Required
5-10 years experience as a Marketing Manager, or Marketing leadership role.
Hands-on Manager with experience in all facets of B2C retail marketing including digital, social, video/TV, streaming, print, email, radio, and OOH.
Manage and lead relationships with various marketing vendors.
Participate in the annual media buy.
Work with our digital ad agency to place digital ads and set and monitor digital KPIs.
Ability to communicate and present to internal clients.
Ability to develop compelling concepts for a variety of media outlets.
Ability to brainstorm and conceptualize full-scale creative projects.
Ability to work at both a strategic and tactical level – serving as both a solo contributor and in a cross-functional team of graphic designers, videographers, and others to create brilliant solutions.
Be a trainer, coach, and mentor, helping people to understand and distill complex ideas.
Collect, analyze, and write periodic reports on new approaches, existing strategies, and potential shifts in the market.
Analyze and report on marketing initiatives, and present strategies and recommendations.
Develops, tracks, and reports key performance measurements for the unit.
Oversees cross-functional work areas targeted to resolve issues raised by customers.
Collaborate with other departments as necessary including customer service and marketing to ensure best-in-class service to our website customers.
Continually improve processes and procedures, so web sales are handled as efficiently as possible.
Occasional travel up to 10-15%
Professional with good communication skills and customer service experience.
Identify and resolve issues and conflicts presented by vendors and customers.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Strong Leadership abilities.
Strong working knowledge of AFW operations and all Marketing programs is critical for this position.

Requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, & bend for 8 hours per day.
