Provide technical and product leadership to envision, build, and scale Saltbox's software solutions for operational leverage.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate member needs into product features.

Build and manage an exceptional engineering team, establish best practices, and drive operational excellence.

Instill a data-driven and continuous improvement culture to enhance efficiency, scalability, stability, and security.

Required

10+ years of software development experience

5+ successful years as a Director/VP of Engineering at a rapidly growing venture-backed company

Experience managing / growing exceptional engineering teams of 15+ people ideally with experience managing managers

Hands-on manager with significant expertise in full-stack engineering, API development, and system architecture

Experience building/managing a quality engineering discipline

Experience leading the development of a rich CI/CD framework

Deep experience with Agile development methodologies specifically Scrum

Well-versed in modern engineering practices

Self-starter w/ GSD attitude

Learning mindset

Passion for delighting customers and stakeholders

Track record of teams known for delivering with high quality and on-time

Known as a true leader in addition to a great manager

Strong references from prior employees and leads

BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience

Preferred

Independently passionate about the future of e-commerce and logistics, ideally having had substantive prior experience building successful products in a related field
