Responsibilities
Design major features and launch them into production.
Operate high-scale services and make them more resilient.
Drive projects independently and provide technical leadership for development teams.
Work with services that require data to travel long distances while abiding by compliance and regulations.
Get a lot done on a daily basis, drive tactical execution of features and projects, and own feature design.

Required
10+ years distributed service engineering experience in a software development environment.
Experience driving architecture & functional reviews, documentation, UX reviews, and working with Product Managers through the entire launch process.
Hands-on experience building and operating entire systems and services.
Strong development experience in Java, C++, C#, or similar OO languages
Working familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) and standard network architectures
Good understanding of databases, NoSQL systems, storage, and distributed persistence technologies
Experience providing technical leadership.
Ability to implement or lead multiple key-projects in parallel.
High verbal & written communication skills
Preferred
Hands-on experience developing services on a public cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, Oracle)
Building continuous integration/deployment pipelines with robust testing and deployment schedules
Experience working with internal customers and translating requests into prioritized work or features.
Expertise in applying threat modeling or other risk identification techniques to develop security solutions.
Experience and understanding of Cryptograph, DDoS, CVE, CIS, SAST, DAST, or similar security and compliance knowledge.
Experience working with large enterprise customers.
Experience with X509 Certificates Authorities and PKI Service is a plus.
Experience building multi-tenant, virtualized infrastructure a strong plus.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position.
