Responsibilities

Performing all work in line with the National Youth Advocate Program’s mission and values
Arranging events and extensive travel
Entering program information into computer systems and databases
Providing reports on minors served by the agency
Coordinating newspaper advertisements
Attending meetings and recording minutes
Procuring and maintaining office supplies
Providing general administrative support services
Performing other duties as assigned

Required

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Previous experience and proficiency in the use of various office machines, including computer.
Travel arrangement aptitude.
Basic bookkeeping skills and experience.
Basic procurement skills and experience.
Ability to learn specialized software such as Electronic Health Record and Human Resources Information systems.
Bilingual English/Spanish fluency required.
Must demonstrate a sincere commitment to the service and advocacy for youth and families.
Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, automotive insurance and a good driving record.
Minimum automobile insurance coverage of $100,000/$300,000 bodily injury liability.
Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word, internet search, people management programs, smart phones and tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.
