Responsibilities

Develop, plan, and manage implementation activities for highly complex projects/programs for external/internal customers throughout their lifecycle

Accountable for timely project completion and delivery

Analyze work plans and schedules, develop project progress and status reports

Responsible for resource requirements/allocation

Coordinate and facilitate project meetings

Assess/manage risk, impacts, and potential alternatives, and escalate as required

Set program objectives, establish clear measures, and track schedule changes

Familiar with optical fiber testing and delivery

Provide recommendations for improvements or modifications

Capable of reading and understanding KMZ and fiber maps

Knowledgeable with Outside Plant construction and splicing

Act as mentor and team leader to other teammates

Define Key Performance Indicators (KPI), training, process standards, policies, and procedures

Required

Bachelor’s Degree and/or 5+ years of related experience

Implementation experience with multiple of the following technologies: Fiber installation, DWDM, and Transport/Waves.

Familiar with optical fiber testing and delivery

Able to read OTDR and PMT test results to identify events, such as connectors, splices, micro-bends, etc.

Capable of reading and understanding KMZ and fiber maps

Understands different cable sizes and glass types along with buffer tubes and color schemes

Knowledgeable with Outside Plant construction and splicing, including engineering, permitting, and boring, duct placement, cable pulling, splicing, and testing

Acts as mentor and team leader to other teammates

Acts as project team leader & accountable for successful overall project completion
