Responsibilities
Serve as a good role model for safe work practices and behavior.
Learn and master all necessary areas of the quality system.
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Perform tool qualifications.
Aid in the development of plastic processing project instructions.
Devises and recommends new or modified components of plastic injection molding machinery.
Conduct tests such as process window studies and design of experiments.
Use instrumented tooling with cavity pressure sensing for process development and monitoring.
Develop processes using scientific studies including DOE studies and Window studies.
Perform qualification studies including FOT, FAT, and SAT.
Perform validation studies including IQ, OQ, and PQ.
Analyze test results and modify equipment to meet specifications.
Record test procedures, results, and recommendations.
Identify and record problems related to product, process, and quality system.
Perform any other duties as assigned.

Required
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Completion of an accredited two-year technical college program, or a four-year university program, in a related field of study is preferred.
5-7 years of experience of plastics injection molding experience.
Working knowledge of injection molding processes.
Troubleshooting skills.
Mechanical skills.
