Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of software applications supporting data collection and analysis from state and county users, external hospitals, physicians’ offices, clinics, labs, and community-based organizations.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development team, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural guidelines.
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and prioritize requirements and manage the development, test, and training instances.
Work collaboratively with the customer to support deploying and releasing new code into production.

Required
5+ years of related experience
Expert-level knowledge and hands-on experience with C# and .NET 7.0 framework.
Proficiency in maintaining and supporting applications built with Silverlight/Open Silver.
Solid understanding and experience in VB.net for legacy application support.
Familiarity with modern development tools, version control systems (e.g., Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong expertise in SQL for database design, querying, and optimization. Experience developing SQL stored procedures and writing and optimizing complex queries.
Understanding of data warehousing processes.
Design and develop RESTful APIs to enable seamless communication between the front-end and back-end systems
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code. Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
Develop unit tests to validate the functionality of the application components.
Experience leading Agile Development teams
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required
Preferred
Agile or ScrumMaster Certification
Web development experience using Microsoft technologies
Azure DevOps/Team Foundation experience
Familiarity with Rhapsody or other ETL software
