Responsibilities

Evaluate customers’ existing infrastructure and advise on improvements in cloud infrastructure, security posture, automation, and developer experience

Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for deploying applications to cloud infrastructure while adhering to security and best practices

Utilize infrastructure as code tools for automating the deployment of immutable infrastructure

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices

Share knowledge with Rearc engineers, customer engineers, and the community

Required

Strong experience across compute, storage, networking, and security services and cloud native best practices on AWS, GCP, or Azure

Experience writing and testing code using a high level programming language such as Python or JavaScript

Experience building cloud infrastructure using infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK

Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using automation and best practices using tools such as, Jenkins, Gitlab CI, Github Actions, or CodePipeline

Experience working with containers and container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes or Amazon ECS

A hunger for knowledge and a need to learn

Polished communication skills and excellent team collaboration skills

Comfortable with being on video in meetings internally and with clients

Conversational proficiency in English

Preferred

Background in software development with object oriented design and test driven development

Previous experience working in financial services or other highly regulated infrastructure environment

Existing cloud certifications
