Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and build a roadmap for delivering datasets and insights.
Manage a portfolio of Data Products and stakeholder relationships.
Document requirements for data products, build features in Jira, and maintain a backlog of future opportunities.
Inspire and motivate analysts and the delivery team for data product development.
Represent the business in data governance discussions and ensure adherence to policy, methodology, and standards.
Evaluate the performance of data product portfolio against defined KPIs and provide feedback on value delivered.
Collaborate and share knowledge with other team members on reusable components and frameworks.
Devise metrics to measure team capacity and output, identify process improvements, and provide leadership and support to direct reports.
Develop awareness of market initiatives and represent Beazley on internal/external committees.

Required
Experience of owning and developing data products that enable the easy reuse of data, reporting, operations, and intelligence
Strong technical skills and experience partnering with stakeholders and delivery teams
Innovation mindset and ability to motivate peers and the wider organization to embrace data analysis opportunities
Passion for data and a curious mindset for the insurance industry
Great communication skills across all levels of seniority
Strategic mindset to devise a prioritized roadmap of data opportunities
Understanding of information flows within an Insurance Company, especially Property and Casualty
Use of statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in data sets
Attention to detail for reviewing datasets or dashboards for quality and testing
Ability to identify process improvements and new reporting opportunities
Stakeholder management and concise communication at various levels
Understanding of insurance principles and strategic drivers
Experience working with Insurance data and pipeline intelligence for sales growth/targeting and performance
Strong experience with Power BI for reporting solutions and dashboards
Managing user experience/dashboards design, security, integration, solutions deployment, and testing
Experience working with stakeholders, business analysts, data architects, data modelers, data engineers, and testers
Skills in data engineering technologies like Kafka, Snowflake/Snowpark, DataBricks, Jira, and Agile principles
Managing and manipulating large internal and external datasets
Knowledge of relational and dimensional database structures, theories, principles, and practices
Excellent analytical skills in descriptive and/or predictive analytics
Proven team player with the ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills tailored for different audiences, technical backgrounds, and seniority
