Responsibilities
Write and debug code for various software applications, including front-end interfaces and back-end systems. Ensure all code written is clean, scalable, and well-documented
Participate in testing processes to identify software defects. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving bugs or issues reported by users
Work closely with other developers, UI/UX designers, and product managers to understand user requirements and translate them into functional software
Continuously learn and apply new programming skills and techniques under the mentorship of more experienced developers
Create and maintain technical documentation for project coding efforts, software maintenance, and troubleshooting guides
Assist in project planning and status reporting as required

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience; interns would be eligible for conversion based upon performance
1+ year(s) experience in software development, including internships or academic projects. Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript
1+ year(s) web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and at least one backend programming language
Preferred
Experience with software development tools (e.g., Git, JIRA, Jenkins)
Familiarity with databases and SQL
Previous experience in a collaborative team environment using Agile methodologies
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Good oral and written communication skills
