Responsibilities

Design, engineer, and implement wired & wireless global network infrastructure with a focus on stability, automation, and innovation.

Operate LAN/WLAN/WAN environments supporting Enterprise Infrastructure teams on projects including new implementations and upgrades.

Ensure network security through tactical change management.

Provide operational support and participate in on-call rotation.

Configure and support HPE, Aruba, and Cisco networking platforms.

Troubleshoot network issues and manage network observability and monitoring systems.

Implement code upgrades and hot fixes from vendors.

Provide technical support and assistance during on-call periods and for impacting issues.

Required

Experienced in engineering and supporting large scale enterprise infrastructure technologies for wired/wireless client connectivity over routed and switch infrastructure.

Expert knowledge configuring and supporting HPE, Aruba, and Cisco networking platforms.

Network Engineering and Troubleshooting skills: Routing Protocols - BGP, OSPF, VRF, VPNs; Switched Protocols - PVST, RPVST, HSRP/VRRP; Monitoring Protocols - SNMP, Syslog, Telemetry

Experience with 802.1x configuration and troubleshooting.

Knowledge of 802.11 wireless technology standards - 802.11b/a/n/ac/ax.

Strong experience managing Wireless Controllers and Wireless Access Points

Knowledge of common network services (DNS/DHCP/HTTP/SSH)

Familiarity of scripting languages (bash/python/ansible) and interacting with Rest APIs

Implement code upgrade/hot fixes from vendors.

Provide technical support and assistance troubleshooting during on-call period and for impacting issues.

Familiarity with network observability and monitoring systems

Computer Science/Network Engineering Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of related experience

Preferred

Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent knowledge preferred.

Aruba Certified Mobility Associate (ACMA) or equivalent knowledge desired.

Certified Wireless Network Associate (CWNA) or higher a plus.
