Responsibilities

Provide strategic direction and leadership to the global data science team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.

Develop and execute a comprehensive data science strategy aligned with business goals and objectives, leveraging advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI technologies with a primary focus on Pricing and Merchandising.

Collaborate closely with other departments to identify opportunities for data-driven insights and solutions that drive business value.

Oversee the collection, storage, and management of data assets, ensuring data quality, integrity, and security standards are maintained.

Lead the development and deployment of predictive models, algorithms, and statistical techniques to solve complex business problems and drive actionable insights.

Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of data science initiatives, and regularly monitor and report on performance to senior leadership.

Required

8+ years of experience in data science, with a proven track record of delivering actionable insights and driving business impact.

5+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial role, preferably within the retail, CPG, or E-commerce industry or a related field.

Experience in developing and deploying Pricing and Merchandising solutions

Strong proficiency in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling techniques, with experience using tools such as Python, R, SQL, and/or TensorFlow.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
