Responsibilities

Execute on the business plan to build new business relationships, especially at the "C" level, resulting in measurable revenue growth.
Provide timely and accurate reporting of sales activities, such as pipeline reports and deal status updates.
Work cross functionally with other divisions and departments within the Company to accomplish objectives.
Timely respond to RFP requests.
Utilize deal models to ensure profitability of new business deals, manage contract negotiations and assist in structuring new client agreements.
Develop and maintain strong relationships at all levels of client organizations.
Establish regular meetings with prospective clients to provide new technology and service updates.
Identify current and future industry trends and prospective client contact opportunities.
Maintain thorough knowledge of important market trends as they relate to Tickets.com products.
Identify and grow new revenue streams.
Develop sales presentations and action plans for potential new clients.
Participate in key ticketing industry organizations, maintaining a high level of visibility on behalf of the Company.
Identify opportunities to increase client satisfaction.
Identify business processes that could be implemented or modified to enhance client satisfaction and reduce the risk of loss of clients.
Provide qualified referrals for Tickets.com partner programs.
Manage and ensure that applicable documents are generated and are in place throughout a sales cycle (as it relates hardware sales only).
Work closely with the Client Engagement team to gain understanding of client needs and expectations.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related area
Minimum five (5) years of proven experience in a business development or sales role, within the ticketing, sports, and/or entertainment industries
Proven track record of measurable revenue generation through B to B relationships and strategic partnerships
Proven ability to develop and create unique ways to attract new business
A solid understanding of ticketing industry technologies
Experience in identifying and defining industry sector trends
Must be able to understand and employ a consultative selling process that overcomes objections and connects Tickets.com products with prospects’ needs
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical abilities
Strong public speaking and presentation skills
Requires superior account management abilities and experience in developing strategic partnerships
Must be able to multi-task, working independently and with others both internally and externally
Must be extremely detail oriented, deadline driven and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to identify, analyze, and proactively respond to problematic situations, render sound judgment, and provide recommended courses of action when necessary
Proven ability to work with a broad variety of clients across all levels
Ability to travel at least 40%
