Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement security features into systems and applications.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security weaknesses.
Stay informed about the latest cyber threats and trends, proactively mitigating risks.
Collaborate with developers and IT teams to ensure secure coding practices and infrastructure.
Develop and implement security policies and procedures.
Monitor security systems for suspicious activity and respond to security incidents.
Contribute to ongoing security awareness training initiatives.

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or a related role.
Strong understanding of security principles and best practices (e.g., OWASP Top 10).
Experience with security testing tools and methodologies (e.g., SAST, DAST, pentesting frameworks).
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and Linux administration.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.

Preferred

Experience with cloud security concepts (e.g., AWS Security, Azure Security).
Experience with security frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001).
Certifications in security (e.g., Security+, CISSP, CEH).
