Responsibilities
Collaborate on design and implementation of UI/UX strategy
Design UI architecture, interface, and interaction flow of new web applications
Break down complex requirements and concepts into visual designs and workflows
Mentor other engineers to improve the ability of the engineering teams to self-diagnose UI/UX issues and identify opportunities for improving human-machine interfaces
Build and maintain a framework of modular web components that can be used in multiple products
Create and evaluate interaction models, user task flows, screen designs, and UI details that promote ease of use and optimize the user experience

Required
Bachelor's/Master’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, software engineering, UI/UX development, or a related field
United States Citizenship – Must be able/willing to obtain a security clearance of Top Secret or higher
Experience with one or more of the following front-end technologies and frameworks, such as HTML, CSS, React/Angular or other major UI platforms
Experience with REST APIs, experience with UI/UX design and integration with data-intensive backend systems
5 years+ professional experience in a similar role
Ability to work collaboratively with developers, engineers, and other teams to ensure that designs are successfully created and implemented to achieve the user goals
Experience creating UI specs and wireframes; flexibility and willingness to move from idea, to whiteboard, to execution quickly and provide choices to stakeholders
An understanding and working knowledge of source control repositories (Git preferred)
