Responsibilities
Establish credibility with clients as their trusted advisor
Effectively use and improve methodology approaches and supporting tools
Facilitate weekly project reviews with client
Estimate and plan projects
Directly manage one or more projects
Resource allocation and load balancing in order to deliver projects
Ensure consistent delivery of projects
Maintain acceptable profitability targets for our projects
Provide backlog and forecast for assigned projects to Engagement Manager
Account Management for assigned accounts
Cultivate professional relationships with clients
Establish credibility and relationships with client decision makers, know their business, their industry, their culture, and their top priorities
Create an environment of extreme customer focus within the team
Be a decision maker regarding conflicting customer priorities/requirements
Be an advocate for customers
Timely response to and acceptable resolution of customer escalations
Renewal and expansion of contractual relationships
Educate consultants regarding value propositions, offerings, and implementation strategies
Proactively contribute to the deployment of the project implementation methodology
Contribute to company growth objectives by providing mentoring to new and existing employees
Proactively contribute to the effective development of consultants
Be an advocate for the consultants, convince customers of “right resource right role” where appropriate
Leverage resources in other groups as appropriate to deliver work (Support, Field Consulting, Outsourcing, Subcontractors, global resources, etc.)

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field of study.
5 years of experience (OR Masters and 4 years exp) as a Project Manager on ERP implementations, which must have included 4 years cross-functional SAP implementation management experience
Across the entire application
For multiple, full lifecycle implementations
In various industries
Travel to client sites as and when needed in the US up to 25% of the time
Ability to lead strategic workshops with clients
Strong project management skills
Preferred
Advanced degree
Project Management training and certification
Work on client projects to provide SAP Project Management
Knowledge of S/4 Hana Public Cloud or certification in this product is a distinct advantage but not essential
Knowledge of S/4 Hana on premise is ideally needed but we will consider SAP ECC or BYD (Business by Design) Project Managers with the right level of experience
Experience working in/with mid-market sized organizations is a distinct advantage
Ability to manage 2-3 projects at once if need be
Ability to communicate at senior stakeholder level with clients
Ideally Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology
Ability to manage project commercials
Ability to manage project scope, risk, change, budget
Ability to manage 3rd party resources
Understands a ‘best practice’ approach to implementing SAP
