Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain Procore's spatial based experiences.

Perform on-call duty rotation (of one week duration).

Conduct code reviews and design reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

Collaborate with product, design, and customer support teams to disambiguate requirements and propose simple/innovative solutions that meet business/customer needs.

Experience working within and leading through influence on global technical teams.

Influence team and organization 1-year and 3-year technical strategy.

Required

8+ years of combined experience as a Software Engineer with an emphasis on building scalable web-based software solutions

Experience in working with Ruby on Rails, React, Postgres, Java, and Service-Oriented Architecture

Experience in working with software, platforms, and infrastructure at scale and demonstrated experience in leading/contributing to large engineering initiative or technology change

Understanding the tradeoffs between short-term and long-term goals and balancing immediate needs with strategic initiatives

Strong experience documenting and bringing team clarity to complex solutions

Excellent debugging skills, with their attendant patience, grit, and creativity

BS or MS degree in Computer Science, related discipline, or equivalent experience

Preferred

Experience in Kubernetes, Kafka, and related web infrastructure technologies
