Responsibilities
3D Modeling including components, process skids, facility plans (mechanical, fire protection, plumbing, electrical, etc.), and general details from a variety of vendors and CAD/BIM software.
Creating and modifying PFD's, P&ID's and 3D piping in AutoCAD Plant 3D.
Create and/or modify 3D models with associated detailed 2D drawings for structural and architectural design using Revit.
Developing the design and drafting of complex piping drawings given basic information such as P&ID's, GA's, piping specifications, equipment arrangement drawings, etc.
Modifying 3D models (tanks, vessels, and equipment including piping).
Creation and cleanup of piping designs and isometrics.
Detailed mechanical drawings.
Walk down of plant site for As-Builts as required.
Actively working across the engineering organization to identify and resolve design conflicts and update the integrated model accordingly.
Designing systems to ensure the safe, efficient, and effective operation of the facility, equipment, and controls required for the production and processing of medical isotopes and fissile solutions.

Required
Familiarity with a variety of CAD and/or BIM platforms such as AutoCAD, Revit and Solidworks.
Familiarity with Drafting and Design Standards.
Detail oriented with the ability to provide design recommendations to other designers and engineers.
Experience with the design of systems from the ground up, including responsibility for basic design considerations.
Associate Degree in engineering or a related discipline and a minimum of 5 years of recent design experience or a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline and a minimum of 2 years recent design experience.
