Responsibilities

Ensure Hyperfine can honor its Service Level Agreements with customers, including service uptime, data retention, and performance requirements.

Implement and maintain scalable infrastructure for a rapidly growing user base.

Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams to identify areas of improvement in various development processes and practices.

Design and build software infrastructure in the cloud and on-premises based on specified requirements.

Update AWS environments, develop provisioning and orchestration, maintain network infrastructure, etc., based on best practices.

Engineer and automate device and cloud environments for security and reliability.

Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines for cloud, device, and data processing.

Collect and build platforms according to compliance requirements including HIPAA, GDPR, SOC2, HITRUST, and federal and state security regulations.

Contribute to effectively build, deploy, and maintain software environments for platform development.

Troubleshoot production-related issues, escalate outages, work across teams, and provide guidance to junior engineers.

Required

Bachelor’s degree within a related Computer Science/Engineering Degree

5+ Years of relevant experience within the Software Industry space

3+ years of experience in a DevOps or Development role

3+ years of experience with the AWS ecosystem (e.g. ECS, EKS, S3, EC2, IAM, etc...)

Proficiency with a variety of programming, scripting, and configuration languages including Python and Bash.

Demonstrated experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools, such as Terraform

Containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes

Experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines
