Responsibilities

Design, implement, evaluate and improve CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitLab.

Collaborate with Engineering teams to create and deploy best practices for cloud infrastructure and code delivery.

Drive and implement automation and streamlining of deployment and DevOps processes.

Create standards and best practices for monitoring and managing application health and performance.

Provide production support, troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues.

Learn and work with the team to maintain highly available resources in AWS.

Create standards for maintaining Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar tools.

Integrate third-party DevOps tooling into pipelines.

Document processes, procedures, configuration, and architecture.

Support the internal Enterprise Architecture Team as a cloud infrastructure and CI/CD expert.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Proficient and proven experience implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines

Experience as a DevOps Engineer (or similar role) with a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle

Strong understanding of AWS

Proficient with Terraform and/or infrastructure-as-code

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

Experience with .Net, PHP, TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, Python or other object-oriented programming languages

Strong understanding of SDLC best practices

Strong understanding of DevOps and Agile practices

DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer or AWS Certification or relevant experience

Experience with Elastic for Observability or equivalent tooling

Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
