Responsibilities

Define complex networking platform solutions and lead a multi-disciplined team to implementation.

Manage a small supporting team, drive goals and objectives within a collaborative environment.

Develop and maintain technical relationships with suppliers/partners on product roadmaps and technologies.

Lead the RFQ technical response and deliver System Requirements Documents (SRD) and technical proposals.

Act as a primary technical interface between Celestica and customers, providing technical support and participating in the selection of design team resources.

Identify and Champion process improvement efforts, participate in standards committees, and present technical presentations.

Maintain current on industry trends and future technology opportunities.

Required

Minimum of 15 years network hardware design experience.

Minimum of 10 years of network experience at the system level.

BS in Electrical Engineering required; MSEE preferred.

Successful experience architecting and delivering network products to market.

Excellent Customer presentation skills. Interface and interact with large OEM and hyperscale customers on ongoing product related issues and new product design concepts.

A broad knowledge of current digital and analogue components.

Successful New Product Introduction (NPI) launch.

Preferred

Experience working with Asian based design teams is desired.

5 years experience as a direct line functional manager is desired.

Prior participation in industry groups and associations is desired.

System level integration, interoperability and test experience is desired.

System level manufacturing test experience is desired.

The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual capable of working with a minimum of supervision in a dynamic team environment. Good interpersonal skills: be able to communicate effectively with members of other teams, departments and clients; as a high degree of liaison is needed.
