Responsibilities

Lead the Fraud Data Science Team to develop and optimize fraud detection models and algorithms.

Manage a team of data scientists, providing guidance and mentorship to combat fraudulent behavior.

Collaborate with various stakeholders to develop a comprehensive fraud detection and prevention strategy aligned with organizational goals.

Required

Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D. preferred) in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Math, Physics.

5+ years of industry experience as a Data Scientist

Experience with Fraud detection models and prevention strategy

Expertise in ML methods and hands-on experience with building and productionizing ML models

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, Java, or C++, and experience with data analysis and machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Airflow etc).

Strong thought leadership coupled with the ability to navigate ambiguity and proactively identify opportunities

Superb communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and concise way to diverse stakeholders and executives
