Responsibilities

Managing and maintenance of a packaging program and process that includes the development of new packaging, evaluation of packaging for addition to the portfolio, maintenance and update of technical packaging specifications, and managing revisions to packaging.

Providing technical support to departments and functions for packaging related matters.

Testing of packaging components and assemblies.

Change management for assessment, evaluation, and implementation of packaging changes.

Collaborating with Product Management, Product Development, Operations, Engineering, and other corporate functions.

Leading the design, development, execution, implementation, and documentation of studies, validations, specifications, and parameters required to maintain packaging integrity.

Developing and maintaining a process for the acquisition, installation, process development, use, maintenance, and upgrade of equipment directly relevant to packaging integrity and management.

Integrating, communicating, and collaborating with packaging vendors, contractors, and customers.

Investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving any packaging related matters for new or existing products.
