Responsibilities
Analyzing medical and pharmacy trends
Researching facility amendments
Procuring financial data for models
Reconciling financial data
Writing SQL scripts for calculations
Modeling payer proposals
Creating presentations on performance analysis
Collaborating with other departments
Managing and delivering business plan
Compiling reports on productivity and profit/loss
Analyzing revenues and identifying trends
Making recommendations for procedural changes
Leading special projects
Providing analytical support
Performing other related duties
Qualification

Required
Bachelor’s required.
At least seven years of experience in healthcare analytics required.
Health plan experience in Medical Economics or Value Based Payments preferred.
Understanding of Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and SUMIFS required.
Basic understanding of statistical concepts such as per capita, weighted averages, variances, and forecasting required.
SQL programming experience required.
Preferred
Master’s Degree in Public Health, Business Administration or related field preferred.
Experience analyzing Facility, Professional and Pharmacy cost trends preferred.
Familiarity with amendments between payers and providers preferred.
Firm understanding of Facility, Professional and Pharmacy claim reimbursement preferred.
Oral presentation experience, especially with senior management, preferred.
Understanding of data and financial reconciliation preferred.
