Responsibilities

Design and develop responsive, high-performing user interfaces to help researchers explore and analyze data points.

Maintain and improve Swift's data systems and create features to enhance data collection user experience.

Iterate on the Django website to understand the state of the lab in real time.

Collaborate with R&D engineers and scientists to design infrastructure addressing their needs.

Craft Swift's culture and technical direction, build new tools, and frameworks to enhance productivity.

Required

Strong language fluency in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python

Expert collaborator, having worked with other developers on a large codebase using git and a project management system

Experience with Javascript/HTML/CSS frontends or Python backends in the context of a full stack system

Initiative to tackle problems and improve ineffective workflows

Ability to write well-documented, well-tested, organized, and efficient code

Kind, conscientious, empathetic, caring, and tactful

Preferred

Data streaming experience, including familiarity with cutting-edge ETL tools and methods

Experience building with the Electron framework

Excellent interdisciplinary communication skills

DevOps experience

5+ years of experience working on full stack projects in industry
