Responsibilities

Establish a marketing strategy to generate awareness among SIs and consulting firms about the connection of Vertex technology to specific financial applications.
Define and drive lead-generating marketing efforts to grow the pipeline for partner ecosystems.
Identify co-marketing opportunities with key partners and lead the execution of demand programs.
Manage projects across different functional teams to drive business results.
Oversee budgets, pipeline performance projections, and ROI for partner marketing activities.
Represent partner personas in messaging, develop relevant collateral, and promote content to engage partners.
Develop, analyze, and deliver regular reporting and insights on performance by partner, campaign, and opportunity perspectives.
Champion partners cross-functionally to ensure a world-class partner experience.
Support department leadership and assist in other marketing-related activities as needed.
Maintain knowledge of industry trends by monitoring relevant publications.
Manage and mentor team members on performance gaps, career development, and partner marketing strategies.
Manage and coach team members on HR-related processes and accountabilities.
Own attainment of high employee satisfaction and retention; support development of programs and initiatives for employee satisfaction.
Recognize others’ contributions and share credit for success.
Manage budget, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions.
Knowledge of financial systems, partner models, software deployment methods, partner marketing strategies, and program execution.
Ability to learn and understand core product functionality, target personas, and market trends.
Process-oriented thinking, detail-oriented, metric-oriented, and strong presentation skills.
Highly motivated, self-starter with exceptional organizational skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Science, Business Administration or equivalent.
10+ years of experience with marketing, business development, and/or product management in the high-tech, IT, or enterprise software space.
4+ years of people leadership responsibilities.
Previous track record of successful partner marketing program execution with measurable results.
Proficiency with CRM-related applications (preferably Salesforce).
Strong knowledge of financial systems (e.g. eCommerce platforms, cloud-based ERP’s, etc.)
Strong knowledge of varying partner models (e.g. referral, reseller, implementation, ISVs, SI/GSIs, consulting firms)
Strong knowledge of software deployment methods (e.g. on-premise, cloud/SaaS, etc.)
Strong knowledge of partner marketing GTM strategies
Strong knowledge of partner enablement strategies and tactics
Strong knowledge of partner program execution (e.g. communication models, partner portal management, incentives management)
Ability to learn and understand core product functionality, target personas, and market trends and needs.
Process-oriented thinking and a knack for being detail-oriented.
Metric-oriented with the ability to define, refine and report on KPI’s.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and workstreams and prioritize activities.
Strong presentation skills with audiences of various size and make-up.
Partner-focused, with a strong interest in speaking with partners regularly.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly motivated, self-starter with exceptional organizational skills.
Quick learner with a 'roll up the sleeves' approach and incredible attention to detail.
Relentless optimism and strong work ethic.

Preferred

An experienced people leader who can build and manage a go-to-market (GTM) framework across functional teams to drive the pipeline.
