Responsibilities
Product support through planning, developing, scheduling, and executing project verification and validation engineering activities.
Providing technical guidance and direction to design engineers and technicians based on verification and validation expertise.
Preparing and communicating testing cost estimations, making decisions on types of testing, specifying test procedures, instrumentation, and hardware.
Performing data analysis to support testing conclusions, documented through engineering reports.
Managing coordination, execution, and results for brake performance testing, suspension articulation testing, vehicle weight studies, water tightness testing, and other vehicle testing/measurements.
Supporting system functionality verification testing in areas such as Noise Vibration and Harshness (NVH), Vehicles Dynamics, Cooling Performance, and Fuel Economy.

Required
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar Engineering field
1-3 yrs of experience, automotive preferred
Previous exposure to data acquisition equipment and data processing/analysis
Great communicator (important for the outsourced coordination aspect of the job to keep everyone informed and aligned)
Positive attitude and desire to learn and take on new tasks (self-learner)
Enjoys hand-on work
Preferred
Baja or Formula SAE experience from college
