Responsibilities

Front-end development - Create and maintain testable user-friendly web interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React. Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
Back-end development - Develop and maintain server-side logic using languages such as Laravel, PHP, or Node.js. Design and implement RESTful APIs and services.
Database development - Design, develop, and optimize database schemas using MySQL or MongoDB databases. Ensure data integrity, security, and performance.
DevOps - Manage cloud infrastructure and deployment processes using tools like AWS, Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes. Assist with automated deployment pipelines and ensure adherence to CI/CD practices.
System Architecture - Collaborate with team members to design scalable and maintainable system architectures. Align application architecture with business goals and requirements.
Code review and Testing - Conduct code reviews to maintain high code quality and adherence to best practices. Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks and perform manual testing when needed.
Document and Knowledge Sharing - Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for code, APIs, and system designs. Mentor junior developers and share knowledge through code reviews, and pair programming.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering preferred.
At least 2-4 years of experience shipping production code to a cloud-based platform.
Experience working in both backend and frontend environments.
2-4 years of production-level experience with PHP, particularly using the Laravel framework.
2-4 years of production-level experience with Javascript, particularly using the React framework.
Strong knowledge of relational databases (such as MySQL) and NoSQL databases (such as Mongo).
Experience with using Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
Experience with using software development tools (e.g., Git, Jira).
Experience with local testing in Docker.

Preferred

Experience working with infrastructure in a cloud platform like Azure, AWS or GCP.
Some experience with CI/CD devops (Terraform, Helm, Kubernetes).
