Responsibilities

Operate in the inspect, diagnose, and repair mindset.

Work closely with manufacturing, process, field service, and quality teams to establish processes and procedures.

Comprehend current production quality trends and communicate emerging quality issues.

Execute timely corrective actions and collaborate with engineering teams for strategic quality issues.

Maintain quality performance metrics, audit manufacturing line, and assist in resolving quality issues.

Participate in continuous improvement activities, optimize products, and support FMEA activities.

Analyze and disposition component and product defects, anticipate problems, and help in non-conformance management.

Improve shipments and installation quality, and support supplier continuous improvement plans.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university.

High commitment to contribute to a positive, high-paced, and results-oriented work environment

Strong desire to work for a dynamic company working on disruptive technologies and make it a success, high level of tolerance to ambiguity

Creativity in problem-solving; ability to quantify problems and develop analytical solution development, proficient in data-driven decision making

Demonstrated ability to be disciplined in approach and thought process

High level of accountability

Experience within quality systems in a medium/high volume manufacturing environment.

Experience in QS-9000, ISO/TS 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, DFMEA, PFMEA preferred.

Experience with extensive problem-solving and root cause analysis

Strong aptitude for electronic test and measurements systems.

Experience in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams.

Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, ability to lift and sort parts of up to 30 pounds as needed.

Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping and organizational skills.

Ability to use technological tools and business system applications to manage, synthesize, and interpret data.

Preferred

Experience with CAD (e.g., SolidWorks) is a plus

GD&T Knowledge is helpful

Experience with Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma practices, 5S, TPS, TQM, etc. highly desired.
