Responsibilities
Maintain and/or enhance quality system activities to ensure conformance to regulatory requirements.
Achieve quality standards, systems, and objectives utilizing appropriate procedures and cost-saving methods.
Manage various inspections, audits, tool calibration, and other QA activities.
Analyze data and identify opportunities to improve supplier quality and service levels through continuous improvement practices such as Lean, Six Sigma.
Interface with customers to solve quality issues and satisfy customer needs.
Build failure analysis team and process for key products.
Initiate and monitor Corrective Action Requests (CARs) and work with suppliers to achieve timely and comprehensive corrective actions.
Distribute analysis of quality data to facilitate product quality and/or process improvements and ensure effective Corrective and Preventive Action activities.
Perform all other essential duties as directed.

Required
Must have good communication skills (written and verbal).
Must have good understanding of Semiconductor assembly processes and the influence on quality/reliability of product.
Preferred
Understanding of Optoelectronics is a plus
BS degree in Physics or Engineering is a plus
5 years experience in Semiconductor Quality/Reliability or Engineering (with some level of customer interface for at least 2 years)
Must be well organized, analytical, logical, and practical
