Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain a production environment including routers, switches, load balancers, VPNs, proxies, DNS, DHCP, NTP, and IPAM.
Administer network management tools for configuration, implementation, monitoring, and maintenance.
Plan and execute Network/Security changes while ensuring performance and security.
Install, configure, service, repair, and maintain hardware and software for network services and devices.
Implement hardware upgrades, repairs, and cabling installations associated with offsite locations.
Maintain network communication closets, equipment racks, and cable installations.
Collaborate with vendors, provide technical recommendations, and support platform upgrades.
Certify solutions before deployment, work with engineering on changes, and provide escalation support.

Required
Over 3-5 years of experience supporting enterprise network environment
Solid knowledge of routing protocols, network hardware and software, security technologies and network infrastructure
Experience supporting Cisco ACI
Installing, cabling and configuration of network equipment
Must be able to define cable plant expansion paths and routing of cable according to client standards
Knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, MP-BGP, IS-IS)
Knowledge of MPLS, Layer2 VPN, Layer3 VPN
Security Practices (Audits, planning, design, implementation, testing, and management) LAN/WAN/MAN internetworking technology
Policy and Procedure review and implementation
Networking and Application Protocols
Network monitoring via SNMP, NetFlow
Amazon Web Services knowledge
Experience with the installation, configuration, integration and management of routers, switches, load balancers, proxies, etc.
Must have knowledge and skills in the fundamentals of IP and core IP technologies
Strong communication and presentation skills
Excellent technical writing and documentation skills
On call rotation required
Candidates must be US Citizens
Candidates must have resided in the United States for the past 5 years
Candidates must not have traveled outside of the United States for a combined total of 6 months or greater in the past 5 years
Successful completion of a background check, drug screen, and a credit check
Candidates must be local to the job location
Preferred
CCNA Certification
AWS Cloud Practitioner
