Responsibilities
With the Project Manager and Superintendent, develop effective plans for constructing the project, and provide input to determine the means and methods necessary to meet project goals. Monitor and update the project schedule throughout the duration of the project.
Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical information to ensure compliance with engineering standards. Resolve drawing interpretation problems and prepare field design change requisitions as required.
Read and understand elements of all required contracts. Act as the Allan Myers authority on the contract between the owner and Allan Myers.
Assist Project Manager in identifying potential safety issues and ensure subcontractor compliance with contract provisions.
Maintain excellent customer satisfaction levels and address client concerns. Produce all correspondence, submittals, shop drawings, billings, etc., with accuracy and professionalism.
Actively seek better, faster, and safe methods to perform work. Demonstrate Allan Myers Leadership qualities.
Ensure that all correspondence, submittals, shop drawings, billings, etc., are produced with a high-level of accuracy and professionalism.

Required
Minimum 4 years of experience in a construction management (estimating, operations, and/or engineering) role.
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, related major, or equivalent required.
OSHA 30 hour required.
Must possess working knowledge of contract administration systems, job cost management, change order management, labor & equipment reporting, planning, and scheduling, preconstruction planning, safety policies and procedures, safe work procedures.
Preferred
Continuing education in construction is highly desirable.
FE (Fundamentals of Engineering) and PE (Professional Engineer) certification desirable.
