Responsibilities
Assist the Executive Director and the Director of the Institute for Cybersecurity and Emerging Technologies with the management of programs/projects of the Institute.
Communicate with all stakeholders in state government, RIC, and external business and municipal leaders.
Coordinate the flow of work within the Institute assuring schedules are kept and deadlines met.
Assist with administrative studies, analyses and recommendations of proposed change in policies, programs and procedures.
Gather/research information related to specific decisions, problems, plans, or activities.
Coordinate work activities and manage tasks required for the implementation of programs/projects.
Manage related correspondence with faculty, college administration, Advisory Council members, business, state officials and other partners of the Institute.
Assist with the preparation, processing and maintenance of the program annual budget, financial documents and related reports and program personnel.
Assist with the preparation, organization and submission of grant reports, and other reports.
Assist with the requisition office supplies and equipment as well as perform as needed various daily administrative functions for the Institute.

Required
Knowledge of the principles and practices of program management
Knowledge of, and the ability to carry out, requisitioning, disbursing and budgeting control functions
Ability to plan and organize administrative duties for the Director
Good organizational skills, and strong interpersonal skills.
Must be proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Bachelor’s Degree.
At least one year of experience in project/program management including supervision of a of office support staff.
Preferred
Bachelor’s Degree in business or public administration
