Responsibilities

Complement the team of analysts and engineers with expertise in data science methodologies

Improve supervised machine learning performance systematically

Work directly with clients to ensure high business impact from data science solutions

Apply predictive methods to client data using Python and classical ML techniques

Engage with clients and internal teams to enhance data science analysis and modeling processes

Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to optimize approaches and improve outcomes

Manage data science and ML projects to meet technical goals within agreed timeframes

Communicate clearly with clients and team members about work and insights

Produce explanatory insights through visualizations and metrics

Interface with clients to ensure data inputs and service applications are understood

Explore and model large datasets using Python, SQL, and related tools

Lead tasks such as data exploration, model estimation, and validation

Write clean, efficient, and well-commented code for data science procedures

Discuss data science aspects with technical and commercial teams

Work with data engineers to scale algorithmic work

Apply and communicate Croud Analytics team's methodologies to clients and stakeholders

Required

Master's degree or PhD, or relevant experience in a field emphasizing quantitative disciplines, with coursework in machine learning (or alternatively, a quantitative advanced degree complemented by extensive training in data science/ML)

Proven experience in applied machine learning through a prior full-time role

Knowledge and experience of using computer programming languages including Python and associated ML libraries

Strong statistical knowledge

Ability to communicate the results of data analysis and modeling

High level of proficiency in English writing and speaking

Strong client services skills, able to both explain complex concepts to clients and manage expectations on delivery and impact when necessary

Strong time management and organizational abilities, capable of prioritizing tasks effectively and working autonomously
