Responsibilities

Manage complex global programs and projects end-to-end in a highly matrix organization, manage roadmap and deliver outcomes.
Plan, schedule, and manage the execution of project activities for the software assurance team.
Create iteration work plans with input from various technical teams, including operating system, system software and microservices, mobile, cloud applications and security teams.
Work with a diversified group of stakeholders and technical leads to identify, communicate, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
Track work progresses and create audience-appropriate status reporting.
Develop, and maintain agile board(s), Jira issues and Confluence pages.
Drive on-schedule project outcomes by focusing on deliverables using Gantt chart of similar tools, identifying dependencies and obstacles, and taking ownership to remove the impediments for the delivery teams.
Engage and communicate calmly and professionally with project team members and peers and lead using influence.

Required

Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cyber Security or related discipline.
The ideal candidate will have 10 years of overall experience in the software industry with at least 8 years as a program or senior project manager. You are good at project management of technical work in the areas of Operating Systems or Mobile applications or Security Research.
Ability to manage all phases of the software development life cycle.
Experience in managing cloud-based projects.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Ability to facilitate meetings, capture minutes and action items, and drive to-dos to completion.
Schedule awareness – ability to communicate priorities and sequence project work.
Ability to manage cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams in various time zones.

Preferred

Experience in managing software assurance projects.
Experience/background in security space, cloud applications
Working knowledge of scripting language for JIRA & Confluence automation would be a plus
Higher-level skills in project management tools using MS Project online would be a plus
PMP or other Project/Program Management industry certification(s).
Certified Scrum Master, Product Owner or other agile certification.
Cloud Certification(s) (OCI).

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position.
