Responsibilities

Collaborate with the UK based Cloud Infrastructure team to design and setup new regions in AWS in the US (commercial cloud and gov cloud)

Operate new infrastructure in the US regions, monitor deployments and service health, liaise with development teams in case they need to debug production issues

Support development teams with CI/CD pipeline issues (together with UK Cloud Infrastructure team)

Operate core infrastructure in AWS (gitlab self hosted, gitlab runners, sentry self hosted on EKS, various licence servers)

Influence application architecture

Write infrastructure as code for both small well understood problems or proof of concepts to large new features, migrations and critical production applications
