Responsibilities
Responsibilities of this role include building the frontend of applications, developing REST APIs, supporting the apps, demonstrating good analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, strong programming/technical fundamentals, and eagerness to learn new technologies/concepts. The candidate must be open to challenges and suggestions, with a minimum of 8 years of experience.
Experience in developing low latency and high throughput APIs using Spring Boot, strong Core Java and functional programming experience, data modeling, relational and NoSQL databases, integrating APIs with third-party libraries/vendors, handling security, server-side design & development, developing common reusable components and services, researching and recommending emerging technologies, working with global teams, leading critical project initiatives, peer code reviews, unit testing, leveraging CICD pipeline, and more.
Experience working as a React developer, solid knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, front-end languages including Node JS, React tools like React.js, Webpack, Bootstrap, SASS, Express, Redux, and Flux, thorough knowledge of E2E deployment of a UI application, developing highly-responsive user interface components using React concepts, reviewing application requirements and interface designs, proficiency with browser-based debugging and performance testing.
Experience using Git/BitBucket, good communication skills, both written and verbal, good troubleshooting skills, knowledge of Couchbase, ElasticSearch, GraphQL, OpenShift Container Platform, Hazelcast Distributed Cache, Java memory management, Winston logger framework for Node-Js, building distributed multi-tier applications, building highly performant and scalable apps, building accessible digital experiences complying with AODA/WCAG/ADA, knowledge of using web accessibility tools like NVDA/JAWS/AXE.
